filling cornies

filling cornies

some time net week my first brew will be kegged,do i fill the cornie to the top or whats the level and regarding the sugar do i warm some brew and stirr the sugar into it or just throw it in at the beginning or the end regards to all sandy :D :D :D

when filling make sure you don't let the beer go more than the short Gas-In tube, leave about a 10mm or so. you can see when you're near it if you fill with the lid off, if you fill through the black disconnect, you'll have to guess

Their are aa number of posts in the equipment area of the forum about filling cornies, generally most people fill the cornie with co2 and purge that so that all aie is expelled and fill through the out side so the beer does not come into contact with the air.

cheers mate at present i dont have the co2 side of the brewery yet but workin on it wondering if i can use a soda stream in the short term ,will check the equipment forum for advice
