Coopers IPA - dry hopping

Post by Luther » Thu Nov 20, 2008 11:09 am

Hello,

I got a Coopers IPA that's been in the bucket since Saturday. Going nicely at about 1010, so it's nearly there although it's still dropping slowly so I think there are a few points to go yet.

Anyway, I got a packet of goldings that I am dying to open. Is it OK to just chuck a few in a bag and add them now? Or should I wait until primary has completely finished. I reckon another two or three days of primary is going to be enough, so bunging 30g of goldings in now seems like it might be a plan?

I'm bottling, so don't have the option of adding them to a keg.

Cheers
Luther
