John Bull Victorian Bitter

Hi Guys,

I've started today a John Bull Victorian Bitter, one of the last ones from my local brewshop.
I've followed the instructions and its now fermenting.

However I'd like to know what the ideal FG should be? As it says it no where on the instructions? Its OG is 1040 spot on.

Also has anyone ever brewed this? What were your thoughts etc?

Craig

The " Ideal FG " will be that FG which ye find after seven to ten days of fermentation, and which repeats on the Hydrometer for two or three days in a row

What ever it is, it'll effectively mean that the wort's fully fermented and may now be considered beer. Beer ready for the next ~ and hardest! ~ part of the process. Maturation.

Hi Craig, got one of these conditioning as we speak,SG was 1044(extra fermentables added)and got down to 1012 making it 4.4% by my reckoning-tastes good too if a little green.
