Where can you get cheap bottle crates?!
may have to resort to making some, but would rather not have to go to the hassle.

I have just found out the other problem of bottling!! 80 bottles and now where to put them #-o

There is only one place to put 80 bottles of beer:

Bottle crates in my experience are like rocking horse fecal matter. I would (and do) use sturdy cardboard boxes. If you need to stack them put a piece of board between the rows. And don't forget to label the boxes!

You will often find blue crates outside of garages and shops. They're not bottle crates but they're tall enough and will hold twelve bottles and they also stack.

Allegedly.

Try your local off licences. I got all mine (20!) from the ones in my area. They were happy for me to have them for the deposit money, £1-£1:50 each iirc, I have had them ages now.
