brew kit help

Post by marko » Fri Jan 09, 2009 1:50 am

I am new to brewing as i got my first kit for christmas this year, i have two kits, a larger kit that came with the brew buddy by youngs and a brewmaker IPA.

When my girlfriend bought the kit the seller recommended that i use plastic bottles at the bottling stage as i will probably not have the knowlege to bottle the larger brew when it is ready and there might be a pressure issue.

secondly which would be the better brew to start with.

I'd make the young's beer first as a trial run then do the IPA but that's due to the fact that I like hoppy ales
