How much sugar for Coopers?

Chaps,

Just about to keg my stout when reading the instructions, it doesn't state how much sugar should be used. However it does say 8g per litre when bottling, I am assuming it would be a bit risky adding 170g-ish!!

8g per litre would be okay for a lager, but for a stout I would only add 4g per litre, or 80-90g to a 23L batch.

I used extra dark spray malt, thinking it was just dark. No worries though, I'm just hoping my keg doesn't leak again
