Coopers; Just Thinking .....

Post by Ditch » Thu Jan 29, 2009 7:36 pm

It's getting pretty damn close, surely, to the point where we could do with a Coopers Board on here!

I mean; Just look at this Board. There's the, " What Temp for Lager " posts. There's the, " What About Brew Ferm Yorkshire? Is It Good? " sort of posts. All that sort of thing. But, head and shoulders above the 'miscellaneous' and mundane stuff, there's this constant and on going bloody ground swell of Coopers Questions and Rave Reviews.

It's sort of getting so there's AG, Extract, Kits and, then, Coopers!

It'd certainly save me sifting through the 'also rans' and that 'shit to a blanket' stuff they produce over there; I really have little or nothing to say about such stuff, myself ~ other than; We tried to warn ye!

 Honestly, lads; I just give praise where I feel praise is due. And my post there really has nothing to do with Praising Coopers anyway, if ye look at it.

No, it was genuinely just a spontaneous thing that crossed my mind. Coopers IS becoming like The kit within the range of kits. Granted; Few - if any - seem to brew it exclusively. I do. Because that's the way I am. I find something I enjoy and do it to the hilt. But, just look at it out there; Per rata, there's now probably more damn posts about Coopers than Any other kit (with the possible exception of the 'Muntons Complaints' thread?). Something about Coopers - the Stout, especially - just seems to inspire those fingers to strike key boards

i think at the moment for kits its either muntons or coopers only because muntons has a monopoly on kits here, so its refreshing to see the excellent results that coopers seems to consistantly deliver. coopers is brill, end of!

Although I've only brewed one Cooper Stout so far, I have to agree with Ditch, it really is the dogs danglies =P~

Judging by all the Coopers posts we really do need our own board. On another note, thanks to Ditch and everyone else who has advised me so far, I'm loving this homebrew lark. Just got a Coopers Brewmaster IPA on the go today, better get started on some more Stout!
