NO Fizz!!! in my bottles

My brew was a youngs barley wine.bottled it and it said add 1/2 level teaspoon to each bottle my sg was 1009,but after 3 days i open one to see if there was any fizz but non!! very sad do you know whats happened.....

3 days isn't long enough for it to carbonate. You need to leave it at least 7. Also, are you keeping the bottles in the warm? About the same temperature as to what you fermented at.

It will also probably taste better as well. :D

I think mine has option 1 issues, as it was left in the FV for over 2 weeks in 22C as I didn't get time to bottle it.

So for this method below, can I just pour all the bottles back into the FV and add the yeasty water, mix and rebottle?
"If condition 1 is suspected after bottling then a packet of yeast can be rehydrated in 120mls of tepid water for 30 mins, stirred in and added to each bottle with a 3ml pipette before recapping, a judgement based on taste should be made whether the bottles require repriming."
