wherry nice

I did a wherry kit a few weeks back,I had done one before a couple of years ago and it came out great. After reading the posts about stuck fermentations I decided to play safe and use saf 04.I left it in the fv for 10 days then took a reading.Guess what, 1.018  Gave it a stir and left it three more days.Took a reading 1.018 .After much debate decided to bottle at that. Two weeks in my living room and then down to the cellar for a week.Cracked a bottle and poured crystal clear with lovely thick head that clings to the glass.Tastes geat too :D Bit dissapointed the abv is a bit down but I will definitely do another one.Maybe try some yeast vit next time.So dont despair if your wherry finishes a bit high.

The wherry is very nice. Don't worry about trying to get the sg too far down. As long as it tastes good, that's the important thing. Try the admirals reserve, it's got a slightly fuller flavour.
