Milestone Crusader

just started a milestone crusader this morning, made it up as per instructions, altohugh replaced the yeast with Nottingham yeast.

i took a sample in to trial jar and got the sample down to 20deg to take a gravity reading and it was a little over 1060, to me this seems a little high, i made it up to 22 litres.

i have made this before but dont remember getting a high gravity like that?????

Well technically thats a good thing, Crusader is meant to be a leffe clone and thus about 6%
Although i cant think how you made it to instructions and got that much, advertised ABV is only 4.5 or so %

maybe i need new hydrometer and thermometer, i have been racking me brains as to how i got this gravity
