I have a Woodfords nelsons revenge brewed with an extra 1lb spray malt, it is 6.5 % and has been in pressure barrel for 2 weeks, it tastes superb and O am having to hold myself back from quaffing now, is 2 weeks far to early.

I have found the opposite, I usually start it after about 4 weeks and it seems to go downhill when I get to the last few pints about 8 weeks.

Obviously, if you leave it for months and months, it will eventually go off, but a well made beer should last a long time.
Thats it, it is in the shed for 2 months and no peeking!!
