Seems in my case it WAS the yeast causing the problem (used the kit supplied yeast this time, not S04), as there are definite signs of renewed activity. It's now in the barrell (3 days after this photo was taken).

After 2 weeks of faffing about, my Nelson's Revenge has hit final gravity 1014. Was 1020 after 9 days (the infamous stick), added yeast vit and stirred, no movement 2 days later, so added more yeast, this did the trick.
Seems in my case it WAS the yeast causing the problem (used the kit supplied yeast this time, not S04), as there are definite signs of renewed activity. It's now in the barrell (3 days after this photo was taken).

If you read the infamous 'Muntons' thread you'll see my reply with the latest feedback from Linda at Muntons, it relates to yeast.
