I have to go away for a week from tommorow, and was planning to set a brew before I go.
I have been putting my water inti the brew bucket overnight with a campden tablet, and then adding the kit the next day (using water form the brew bucket to desolve everything). To save me time tommorow, could I make up everything tonight, add the tablet, and then just add the yeast tommorow?

Campden tablets will clear chlorine extremely quickly. The actual reaction is virtually instantaneous. It's just a matter of dissolving and diffusing. What I do is put a bit of water in to start with, maybe a litre or two - it's not critical, then add the crushed tablet and continue to fill the vessel. It's ready for use immediately. I wouldn't make up the brew and then leave it as that may give nasties a chance to creep in. Pitch the yeast ASAP.

So, the leaving it overnight thing isn't neccesary, it won't harm/kill the yeast?

The amount of chlorine in the water won't harm the yeast anyway. It just reacts with the wort to produce an odd taste. Delaying pitching the yeast will leave time something else to use the wort as a free lunch.
