White sugar and dry malt extract have the same value ........374 fermentable points per kg

Liquid malt (including the stuff in the kit can) and glucose (brewing sugar) have a value of 300 per kg

I often see the rule of thumb that a 1.5 kg tin of liquid can be substituted with 1 kg of dry. The maths doesn't work out!
