You may have overdone the sugar and created so much pressure that the yeast gets stirred up from the bottom of the bottle when you open it. There was a thread about this a few days ago.
Best wishes

Ollie -

Agreeing with OSB that over-priming will certainly cause lots of foam and cloudiness on opening, but I don't think over-priming would cause excessive sweetness: if your brew is overly sweet to the taste, that could be indicative of another issue......

Are the bottles cloudy before opening, or only after opening?
If they're clear before opening, and only cloudy after opening - then over-priming is the single, prime suspect. Questions would be: How much priming sugar did you use in each bottle? Did you measure it carefully - or "just lob a bit in"? And where have you kept the bottles - somewhere very warm, or somewhere cool?

If the bottles are cloudy before opening, then:
Did you get yourself some hydrometer action and read the specific gravity just before bottling?
