Frothy wherry

Hi

kegged my wherry two weeks ago and thought I'd sample a pint, I ended up with a pint of froth instead! It eventually calmed and gave me about half pint. Will this level of froth subside or will it stay like this? I'm using a KK TT with Dalex Tap flow control. I have adjusted this to no avail. Any help appreciated

With a full keg and the recent hot weather I guess it's a bit lively. You need to practice your tap control and when the level drops a bit it will calm down.

At least it shows your KK is not leaking. :D

Feel for you having the same problem just pour slowly and hopefully it will all come together soon enough! I've heard it starts to settle down after the first 10 pints

I've done Wherrys, Coopers, Geordie bitter, and ALL have been like this. If I am going to drink a few pints, I serve into a large jug, then pour into a pint glass. When you go from jug to glass you'll get the beer from the bottom of the jug, not much froth, and the remaining froth will die down, whilst you drink that pint. Try it, you'll see what I mean.
