Theakstons old peculiar.

I'm still a nub when it comes to Home Brewing, But is there anything in kit form that might come close to Theakstons old peculiar or Theakstons XB?

Any help would be apperciated, as i have a bit of an addiction for the above drinks.

Also in the same style (and IMO better than Norfolk Nog) is Brupaks Pride Of Yorkshire Scammonden Dark Ale. It's one of the best tasting kits I've done.
