After all the great hype on this forum about ditch's stout I couldn't hold back any longer so I perchased a coopers stout and made it up with 500g of DDSM & MDSM.
I made it up as per instructions and then the waiting game began. After 18hrs waiting and nothing had happened with the yeast I thought maybe I was in for my first ever failed yeast kick. How could this be with the weather so warm and the fermenter is sitting at a nice 20/21 degress.

So I thought I'll put it in the sleeping bag and wait it out for another 24hrs or so. Well needless to relate the stout didn't require a second invitation to the party, a mear 5 hrs later it has poured out the top of the fermenter and is all over the sleeping bag.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this stout is as good as the hype coz I love my stouts. Can't wait for the grand opening/tasting day for this brew when its ready.
