Beer Kit Enhancer

Do these kit enhancers make a real difference to the quality of kit brews?

I normally use brewing sugar but to fair, only notice a very slight difference and don't really think that the cost out weighs the benefits.

Are they worth using?

they are, I suppose, a halfway house. As the sugar content is brew sugar (ie dextrose or similar), they are a huge leap ahead of making a kit with just tate and lyle. If you are already using brew sugar, then no, not a huge benefit.

Ditch your brew sugar though and switch to all spraymalt, and then you will get a better beer.

BKE is 50/50 brew sugar and spraymalt, so half-way house is an excellent analogy! :D
