Having recently brewed and finished off a Cooper's IPA....
I used 1kg BKE along with the kit yeast and it turned out superb. I re-hydrated the yeast before pitching it.

Always with all spraymalt in my opinion. I'd stick with Coopers yeast, it's a good 'un, fast and it forms a nice compact yeast cake.

Light spraymalt for me. Its worked so far on the 3 IPA`s I`ve done. I also like to add 200 grams of brewing sugar to up the abv a little and brew to no more than 21 litres.
The Coopers yeast is good but its only a small pack, I wait til I`ve got 2 packs and pitch them both together, otherwise I like Nottingham with this kit but for my tastes it needs to condition a bit longer first.

If it's your second brew, the best advice I can give is not to start drinking it until it's at least 6-8 weeks old.
Especially with a high ABV brew like an IPA, the alcohol needs time to cool down a bit so it's not so much like drinking beer with a shot of whiskey in.
You replace sugar 1:1 with spraymalt so 1kg is correct.
