1-gallon glass carboys with airlock?

Post by surista » Sat Nov 14, 2009 11:51 pm

Just what the title says: Anyone know where I can buy 1-gallon glass carboys with airlock? I'd like to be able to make small batches for experiements etc. I live in London, but anywhere in the UK that can ship is fine.

TIA,

They're readily available and often used for wine making. You can even get them at Wilkos. You don't need an airlock for beer though. You could use any food-grade container of a suitable size.
Best wishes

1 Gallon Glass carboy - AKA a Demijohn in the UK, widely available.
You might want to check out your local FreeCycle or Freegle group too, there are often demijohns being given away ;)
