has anyone seen these before and knows the methods 8.8% seems a bit much,how many pints do you get for that strengh? :?:

Thanks DaaB so if you wanted to do that then its one for bottling then and keep till crimbo.
Can't really do that though I have a game now keeping the kids from my fermenters and kegs,god knows what the would do if they found bottles :?

I've done the Mexican Style Lager twice many moons ago (approx 10 years or so) when I first got into homebrew. Back then I followed the kit instructions to the letter (using white granulated sugar) and it turned out very well so would probably be far better if brewed with light spay malt. Everyone that tried it was impressed.
I made it to be approximately 5% if I remember correctly. I still have the labels somewhere with some notes scribbled on them, I'll have to see if I can find them.

Do you think Brewmart might of changed the recipe/ingredients during the past 10 years?

I,m not sure, some beers are made by tradition,thats a question for a wort master :wink:
