Have had a coopers stout made up to 20L using 1kg brew enhanser and 500g dark dme, which had an OG of 1054. It's been going for 8-9 days now and has had been standing at 1014 for two days. I pitched the yeast at about 26 degrees and have done my best to keep it down to around 22 degrees since then, although it has got up to 24-26 on occassions during the hot weather we were having a few days ago. This is the highest OG I've had (due to the extra fermentables), so I'm probably expecting the FG to be a little higher, but 1014 still seems high. What do you think? Should I give it a stir, or does this sound OK for bottling assuming it doesn't drop in the next day or so?
Is there a way of knowing what FG you should expect given a specific kit, temperature and OG?
BTW, had a quick taste last night and it's tasting very nice already...
What sort of FG should I be getting?

A kit made up with sugar will typically finish around 1006 to 1008. If you add more fermentables which are not just simple sugar it is likely that you will raise the FG. In our All Grain brews we often have an FG around 1012 to 1014. You said it already tastes good.................that's what it's about! As long as you are happy that fermentation has finished.................after the time and temperatures you state and two days the same, I would say that is pretty certain, then continue and enjoy your beer

Last few Coopers stouts I've done have all been with either Med or Dark DME and have have finished at about 1014.
Just bottled one that was made with Coopers Dalrk Liquid Malt Extract and that only went to 1015.
All have been very tasty!!
