Wonder if anyone has added a Flavapak to their homebrew kits....did it enhance it or was there no difference?

Best Kit

Thanks for that DaaB. Now to put you on the spot, just returned back to homebrewing, due to old age, arthritis and possibly dry rot, use to brew with grains etc but now having to use kits for convinience..what in your opinion is the best bitter kit around? By the way this question is open to all.

Hi Parkerwitton,

I'd agree with Daab, Brupaks are the biz, top notch kits, I did ten of their kits, amongst others, before going all grain

I'm in Durham also, whereabouts are you?

glad to hear another Durhamer on this great forum.

Thanks for the info DaaB and also your twopennyworth Garth...most appreciated. Fancy a dabble at Brewers Choice...just put on a Great Eastern this morning to feel my way back into it again...you see the wife likes a tipple so I thought this lighter brew would suit her...time will tell.
Garth I live in Bishop Auckland, but my heart is in the place I have chosen for my username....just turn them around...Cheers

Being the wrong side of 50, I've sometimes wondered how long I'll be able to go on humping heavy barrels around, but as Daab says, if you're keen enough, you can build a set-up that doesn't require a lot of lifting.

Well, I reckon we've got at least 4 County Durham wallas on the board now - Garth, Horden Hillbilly, yourself and even though I live in Washington now I was actually born and raised in Willington near Crook.

Hello Jim I am over sixty and the aches and pains arthritis ridden, so I want an easier life these days. Once I get into the swing of things again I will start doing extract brews....probably start with the one I posted on extract brewing. I was bred and born at Witton Park which is not far from your browtins up. This seems a great forum with easy, good and welcoming advice long may it continue.
Cheers!!
