Having repitched S04 onto my Linthwaite light cos stayed at 1020 for 3 days, it has not developed a crust after 36 hours at 20°C. The yeast seems to have fallen out straight away. Is this right, does it do it's work from below, or should another crust have formed as when first pitched?

What's the temperature like?

True ale yeasts work from the top, but lager yeasts work from the bottom.

Oh, and hang in there!
