Bottling/Priming Question

Post by StrangeBrew » Mon Apr 09, 2007 5:12 pm

Hi all...

My brew has finished with an FG of 1014, the OG was 1045.
The kit suggests that it should get down to 1010 but with the extra Crystal Malt I added maybe 1014 is ok.

What I'd like to know is will it be safe to bottle at 1014 using 80g brewers sugar to 40 pints for priming or should his amount be less now that the FG is higher?

I normally barrel my beer so I'm a bit green when it comes to bottles.
