Party went well.

Hi all, well the fruits of my homebrew labour have been well and truly sampled this weekend.
It was a friend of mine's B-day so we had a bbq - fantastic weather too - I made some spicy burgers and a few sarnies and took along my finished Almondbury Old, three one litre bottles of ginger beer and some just out of the primary (and just about drinkable) lager. It all went down well (all 54 pints of it!) even the lager went well as it was chilled.

I wouldn't have bothered with my lager as it wasn't ready but one of the lads beers was even less ready than mine, so, well it all got drank!

I'm still in pain today after running around like a loon playing footie, oh and a spur of the moment boxing match !

Well, happy suppin',

BTW - my Linthwaite light has been started with an SG of 1055 (last thursday) and is now at 1016, so things are looking good.

Steve.

If it wasn't for you and a few others around here I doubt I would be where I am today....In pain, scuffed knees, loss of memory....

Cheers all.
