Hambleton Bard Dry Beer Kit - Old English Bitter

Morning brewers,

Has anyonr tried on of these kits?, Being a dry kit does it need to be made any different to a Werry kit for example ?. And is any other equipment needed or will a couple of ferm bins and a barrel do

I cut my teeth on these kits many moons ago. I remember them to be very good quality and easy to make. You'll be fine with the equipmrnt you have as far as I recall.

I first tried one a year ago (Strong Bitter) and was really impressed, just follow the instructions and you'll be fine with the equipment you've got.

Morning Again,

I bought the kit from Ebay and the seller told me it requires 2lb Sugar and 1lb of BROWN sugar, I have a cople of bags of light spraymalt and dextrose powder. Any ideas for the brown sugar?, Ive never used it before,

I meant 3lb Sugar?, not to worry. Anyhow I made it up with Daabs suggestion, and added a wee bit or brown sugar too, The OG was 1050 and now its down to 1015ish after 2 days and not much action in the bin now. Muppet here threw the instruction out and didnt find out the FG, and ideas ?
