been brewing tom caxton kits for a while now,my favis dark real ale,full hop enhancer and a tip of treakle :

not really heard of this brand before, though i'm a newcomer to homebrewing. are they good?

they had a bit of trouble with crap yeast a while back but they have got it together again the dark real ale is superb and the hop enhancer comes in a packet so u can do it to your own taste very good

Our first brew was a Tom Caxton Real Ale. We didn't get very good results, but then we did balls up just about every part of the process, and used a kilo of Tate & Lyle instead of glucose/spray malt
