I received an email back from Muntons today, confirming that Woodfordes Wherry and Sundew kits both contained identical cans of extract in each kit.
This was great news to me as I've got 2 Wherry kits and a Sundew kit sitting in stock and they were all purchased for £13.99 each
EDIT - I'm also going to split my cheapy Admirals Reserve into 2 brews now aswell.
After apparent sucess with my EKG Wherry ( bloody lovely IMO) brew, I plan to brew 8 different beers over the coming year by using 1 can from each kit at a time and adding hops, grains and also varying brewlengths from 9-11.5L.
Let the planning commence.
Any suggestions welcome!

This might sound like an odd question butwhat's the difference between the kits, if the contents are (as you report) identical?
As for ideas for you - the options with Pale LME are very extensive, so go have fun!

Think he means that in a Wherry - both cans contain the same amounts of ingredients, and In a Sundew - both cans contain the same ( But different from the wherry) amounts of ingredients.
Nothing's forgotten, nothings EVER forgotten...

Ohhh... I was being thick! I thought you meant the Wherry and Sundew were the same, and I was missing a hop sachet or some other ingredient.

I think the first brew will be a slight Sundew tweak......
11L Brewlength
1 x 1.5kg Can of Woodfordes Sundew
10g of NZ Cascade pellets steeped for 30mins
20g of NZ Cascade pellets dry hopped
7g of Coopers Ale/Lager mix yeast
Fermentation @17C
Sundewade or Cascadew?

They are certainly going to be cheap little brews, and I'll try not to overdo any of them.
I would like to try first gold, but I don't have any and I really must not buy any more hops until I've used some of what's in my freezer!! As for citra, I really don't like it for some reason
I'm toying with brewing the other can of Sundew in the style of Hopback Summer Lightning with some challenger and goldings.
When I get a minute I'll list what hops I've got to help with more suggestions

Hi mate
I have only used a small amount of it so far, and that was in last year's Coopers ESVA brew along with the same amount of Apollo. As this is quite a strong and complex tasting brew, I can't really give you a clear taste/aroma profile I'm afraid.
I have to agree with you about Old Golden Hen though, really delicious, especially the cask version.
I have read that Galaxy isn't great for bittering, as it can be very harsh. Now you've got me thinking though, as a single Galaxy hopped Sundew would showcase the hop nicely.
