John Bull Chocolate Stout

Has anyone brewed this kit??

I havent started mine yet but would be curious to hear people's opinions on whether it was good or bad etc.

I Brewed this Kit about 10 weeks ago and am very happy with it now, about 15 pint bottles of it left.
Left in primary for 10 days, then bottled. After about a month it turned out really nice, couldn't give it away befoe that so patience is the key with it.

I recently bought a bottle of Rogue Chocolate stout and found it hard to drink... a bit too sweet. I was a bit worried that the John Bull would turn out this way but I had a taster yesterday while taking a gravity reading and its not bad at all. The chocolate flavour is not too loud... even has a coffee taste going on.

Plan to leave it for 7/8 weeks so that it reaches full potential.

You will find too that if its too rich, if you put it into the fridge for a few hours it is almost a different drink.
