I'm sure I read some posts on here about Wherry having a slightly vinegar smell with certain waters I live in Leicester I think we have hard water (Limescale in my kettle). I was wondering what others experience was, I'm pretty certain it's gone

(My 3rd brew and first Wherry).
The Coopers lager (Made with geordie's beer enhancer) has been in the primary 8 days (Was going to give it 6 days but every morning the lid was expanded with co2 until yesterday) can I leave it in the primary for a few more days (Assuming I did a better job of cleaning the bin of course)?
Would it be alright to let it clear in the primary before bottling/kegging (Thinking of getting a corny)?
Would I need to add yeast to the bottles to condition if I've let the beer clear first? I'd force carbonate if I used a corny so I could move the keg.
DaaBs answered the first one.
The coppers will be fine in the primary for a good few days yet and the longer you leave it (within reason ie a few weeks) it will probably improve.
Leaving it in the primary will also let it clear more as well.
If the beer has been left for a very extended period (ie in a secondary for say months) it may need some supplemention with yeast.
For a few weeks sitting in primary i don't think you should worry (there should still be plenty of yeast in suspension even if it appears clear).
I force carbonate in cornies, have to say that if i move the keg about much i end up with cloudy beer (normally settles back down again over a few days though).
To get crystal clear beer in the cornie (sans sediment) you could probably use a good dose of finings in the bucket before putting it in the cornie, an extended period in a secondary fermentor would also be benefical or even crash cooling in a fridge which increases yeast flocullation/sedimentation.
Someone else on here might have more experience of acheiving a crystal clear beer for cornie dispense so i'll let them field that one.
