Just a quickie..
Do i stick with the kit yeast or go for the Safale 04 that i have in my cupboard, never used S04 but by all accounts is a cracking yeast.
Ive got the BC IPA kit which ill be brewing in a week or so.
what do you reckon?
Brewer Choice Yeast
The yeast that has come with my "Pride of Yorkshire" and "Brewer's Choice" kits is the same (at least for the ale kits).
For my last BC Old Ale I used S-04 and it foamed right out of the fermenter!
The POY Birkby Bitter I'm currently drinking was made with the Brupaks yeast and it has turned out great.
