Checked this brew today, down to 1010. Bottling tomorrow. Smelling Great!
Took the FV out of the Trug, filled trug with cold water, put FV in trug with 6 BIG ice blocks from take-away trays to cool down the beer.
I always make a Brew and bottle my beers when Mrs Ales is in work, less hassle in the kitchen and Mrs Ales doesn`t know what`s going on! :D
Or so I thought! Mrs Ales saw me cooling the beer and said `Your TC has been in the fridge for 2 wks, put the TC in the Filing Cabinet,
put the FV in the fridge and it will cool down in there!` :D =D> #-o
Don`t you just love them! :D
Why didn`t I think of that? That`s why I got the fridge off Freecycle in the first place! #-o
Bloody Hell Mun! :D

Infinite variations too. I think a strawberry wit or even a saison would be great

Wales did you have to strain the beer at all or did the fruit pulp simply settle out in the FV? I am curious as I would normally freeze the fruit whole and then thaw it and put it in a straining bag in the FV to ferment.

I have a pale ale that has been on the go for a few days now and a few bags of berries in the freezer and I just now spied the wife's blender in the kitchen ........................ :-k
