I personally think this is a great idea and can see it being popular.
Would be good for people to build stocks when short on time or for people stepping up from a two can kits
Also great for a present to get people into the hobby with minimal equipment.

Dependent on price it may come in handy as said above to build up some stocks as with a young child and a nagging..... I mean lovely wife I don't get to brew as often as I would like.

Would have been interesting if it was wort straight from the mash so you could add your own hops and boil etc...

I'd have thought if you have the time/equipment/inclination to boil 23 litres of wort you'd be happy to mash a few kilos of grain and save yourself £30?

Smaller sizes would be good, that way you could try some test batches using different yeast & dry hops.

I would imagine that postage would be fairly expensive though?

Seems a good idea, probably better for those who live close enough to collect. Would freshness be an issue? Its good to think that Rob is always on the ball looking out for new ideas.
Its also good to see that other brewhouse/garages look as chaotic as mine. I may not have a snazzy s/s fermenter but I do have bar football!

There was an experiment on basic brewing recently where they kept making the same wort over six months and then fermenting them to see how stored wort aged. The upshot was, IIRC they started to notice a difference at the three month mark, however it wasn't a better/worse difference, just a colour difference from what I recall.

This sound great BUT its expensive and there is postage on top.

If I understand it correctly the hop additions have been made and all you need to do is ferment it, is this correct?

If so what is the difference between this and a top of the range kit? I'm thinking about the quality of the final brew rather than the size of the container n so on.

I'd like to try one but Im more interested in Rob increasing the number of AG kits he sells.
