The black treacle works really well with this kit , I hoyed some in with one of these a while back , went down a treat .
And they wonder why we drink ...

I did one of these last winter and it was good.I used 1kg of brewing sugar as opposed to your enhancer and malt extract but I did use the black treacle. It sounds good tell us how it works out :)

Do you use the sugar in the fv or in second fermentation

dylan,
Look in the FAQ`s and Stickies thread for `Ditch`s Stout Masterclass` (top of this page).
Follow Ditch`s instructions to the letter and I MEAN TO THE LETTER and you will have a Stout ready in 2 weeks! :D
You have got 9 weeks till Christmas so you better get brewing now because the first one will be drunk within a week! :D
Trust me! I know! My first `Ditch`s Stout` didn`t last a week! =D> #-o #-o
Buy another FV (VF to you) and brew one every week, bottle or barrel one, brew another one while the other one is brewing! Simples! :D
You are Doomed! :D :D
Good luck with Brewing!
