any particular colour ie light, dark etc

i,ve got some light spray malt would that be ok, i bought it for another brew but i can get some more later. but thinking about it i only have 500g of light but 1kg of dark. Could i use 500g of each or would 500g light and 500g sugar be better

It's called Old English Ale, I don't think a little more body from a bit of dark spray will harm the profile too much. But then if it was me I'd have gone for 1kg of dark =)

thanks guys i have 3 brews i could do, and couldn't make my mind up on which to do, you just made my mind up for me. Its the Old English
