Cherry Wheat Beer

Post by davew » Wed Jul 06, 2016 2:47 am

Something I've wanted to brew for a while now and now I've done it.

Wilkos 2 can Wheat beer kit, on special offer at the moment brewed short to 20l.
10 packs / 4.8kg sainsburys dark sweet cherries.

The fermentation is a bit volatile to say the least, I've fitted a blow off tube going to a 5l Ashbeck water bottle. Going to keep a close eye on this one.

What did you do to the cherries first?

Nothing, they were frozen ones from sainsbury. I thawed them out and dumped them in.
