hello there just got my first ever brew going tonight. think ive done evrything as i should but i cant help but worry about messing things up. whats the best way to get the beer from the fermenting bin to a keg?(my bin has no tap obviously) and as far as carbonation goes - am i right in assuming that when the priming sugars are added that this will produce co2? any answers or tips for a first brew will be greatly appreciated

Aye, DaaB knows the score.

I've been using the siphon method but I tend to enjoy a good suck on the tube. I've heard this isn't the best way though, too much risk of infection. ;)

Me too I know where my mouth has been and well I ain't no dirty skank. I suppose you do increase the the likelyhood of infection. And as it's all about minimising risk at the end of the day, as totally irradication would be at bit costly.

But good ideas abound from Daabs
