Bottled water query

Post by adamzworld » Fri Nov 06, 2020 12:24 am

I was planning on doing a brew a few months back (during lockdown MK1!) and for a variety of reasons never got around to getting it done. At the time I bought 4 X 5 litre bottles of Tesco water and they're still sitting in my spare room unopened.

They have probably had a fair amount of exposure to sunlight so will this in some way have tainted the water? I don't want to risk if it it might so would be happy to consume the water and buy some more bottles.

TIA

if you are happy to drink it then you should be happy to brew with it

Thanks for the feedback and my only real concern that the plastic bottle may be more likely to impact on the water if the sun has shone on it for a length of time.

As Richard says, if I’m happy to drink it then I should also be happy to brew with it!
