I read something not too long ago about using a Coopers Dark Ale kit with a 1.5kg can of Coopers Dark LME as the extra fermentables. I think it may have had a small hop addition also, but can't remember where I saw it. It was supposed to be quite Hobgoblin ruby ish. If I can re-find it, I'll post it up.
