The latest and greatest GF have a silicon seal on the bottom plate as well as the top. Not a life changing enhancement but at least you'll know it is the latest version. The mk2 GF have two brackets on the wort return pipe as well as a mod to the pipe to prevent gushing if the silicon return pipe is removed without turning off the ball valve.
