Grainfather Counterflow Chiller Stand

Hi There,
Has anybody made a suitable stand for their counter flow chiller, I know that it is designed to sit on the top of the glass lid but I like to have the lid removed when transferring the wort into the fermenting vessel.

I stand it on an old kitchen bin.

I stand mind on the malt pipe. By the time I get round to the end of the boil I've already washed up the various bits and pieces used at the start of the process.

I use a shelf support attached to the wall then slide the cooler onto it.

Hi,
Although there would be many relatively easy ways of standing the chiller next to the Grainfather, other than adding hops as a late hop stand, after dropping the wort below 80°, which is tricky with the chiller on top of the lid, I haven’t really found it necessary.

It would be interesting to know why you found it better to stand the chiller in an alternative position?

I use one of these, it's just the right height and enough room for hops etc alongside.

I flush with boiling wort to sanitise so putting it on top is a pain.
