I have owned stainless immersion coils in the past made with 3/8 tubing, which isn't exactly self supporting.
So I decided to make / alter one myself to fit in the BM.
A shop bought 1/2" tube was sourced, which is self supporting, trouble being the stupid tails are way too short
Solution = make my own extension tails in stainless.
Note I didn't want to pay a £100 for one

Re: Stainless Immersion Coil
Nice work I look forward to the report on how it cools, I have to admit I find the plate chiller a bit marmite.

Re: Stainless Immersion Coil
I don't know if I will use it as the main chiller unit but will experiment to see how it gets on.
I really wanted / built the thing to bring the temp down quickly to a "steep" temp for late edition hops.
