GF Liquor volumes
GF Liquor volumes
Hi all, i may be missing something but got my GF last week and did a Wadworth 6X, using the calculations from the GF instructions for 25ltr i needed 15.8 ltr for mash and 18.94 ltr for sparge, which is what i used, came up 2 ltr short and 3 points over, found the GF profile in brewsmith 2 and it was 18.6ltr for mash and 25.21ltr for sparge, used the single infusion medium body profile, anyone know why the two are so far apart and what are other GF owners are doing.

Hi Mate
I found the profile on beersmith to be out, so I used following link to set my own profile up, works well for me and volumes and targets, unless I do a large grainbill,6kg + which screws my efficeincy up due to a small sparge.

Re: GF Liquor volumes
What is the full-to-brim volume on the GF. I'm planning to get one soon and am already planning my brew lengths. I read on one review that it is 36L. Is that correct?
Best wishes

The marking say 30 ltrs and thats pretty much at the top maybe 31/32 ltrs , but would probably result in a boil over
