GrainFather first brew in detail

Hi.
Put a blog together more for my own record than anything of my first day with the GrainFather. Amarillo/Marris Otter Smash Pale Ale as a test recipe.
Though others might find it interesting.

Nice

How long did the whole brew take, including all cleaning etc?

Got out of bed 9am, cleaned up and preparing to watch the F1 with a beer in hand (Aldi) by 2.30. Reckon I can knock 45mins off next time.
Possible fill and set mash temp the night before and stick on a timer.
Cannot heat sparge at same time as it would overload the circuit in my garage, but heat in when maintaining mash at the lower setting of the element and no trips on the 13amp UK domestic circuit.
GF mash maintains is 500w and I put a 2400w element in sparge pot so just under the Max into my single socket.
