Grain bill of 11kg
Has anyone pushed the maximum capacity of the grainfather to 11kg I've done 9kg with not to much fuss but is 11kg to far..?

Not tried that much grain myself but David Heath's recent video on YouTube on reiterated brewing was of interest to me and I will give that a go soon.

9 is supposed to be the max and it did work form me but it's tight and there is not a lot of sparge water,
I've not done it in a GF but you could try a reiterating mash https://byo.com/article/reiterated-mash ... ive-brews/ I did a big stout that way.
You'll need plenty of calcium and to keep an eye on pH during the second mash.

tend to take a big hit or efficiency with bigger grainbills aswell. When i brewed an imperial stout i cut down the final volume and made i think 15l
