Anyone tried doubling 20L Braumeister volume like this?

Anyone tried the above method, mashing twice using 2x 4kg grain and having a boil around 40l in a Braumeister 20? I've doubled up on output before but done a concentrated mash and boil and then diluted down as you would if you were extract brewing. Never tried this. Going to give it a go next time...

I tried this for the first time the other day. I did fit everything in but sparging that much with only a kettle and a thermometer to get it to the right temperature was a bit tedius. Disposing of 10kg of grain was also a challenge as our council aren't taking the food waste bins at the moment.

I always just fill the BM with water the night before (30-38L) and treat it. It is then programmed to heat the water for when I wake up. I just draw off the excess before mash in into a pot/fv and then use it for sparging, it might mean that it takes slightly longer to get to a boil but the temperature does not drop much and it’s much easier.
