Currently extracting the juice from the last of this year's rhubarb (frozen since June), I managed 10 gallons in all this year.
3lb Rhubarb
3lb Sugar
Young's Super Wine Yeast
(I'm going to add 250ml of white grape concentrate to a gallon just for variety)
Stick the chopped rhubarb in a bucket and add the sugar.
Leave overnight and make sure all the sugar has dissolved
Strain the juice off into a demijohn, rinse and repeat.
Add yeast and ferment at 18 degrees
I love this wine, so easy to make and always tastes great. If you're just starting out with fruit wines, this is a good place to start.

Re: Rhubarb
My Dads garden has loads of Rhubarb growing in it - you are giving me ideas!
Do you boil the Rhubarb first?

Re: Rhubarb
No need, just chop it up and bung it in with the sugar. It couldn't be easier!
