Boiling apple juice for turbo cider?

Rather than just adding 2 kg of sugar to 25l apple juice, is it at all feasible to boil it for 30-45 min to concentrate the sugars in the juice then chill and pitch the yeast? Or is that just a waste of time?

Rather than boil AJ, which may well affect flavour, consider switching to AJ concentrate (eg Suma from hippyfood shops)
5l of that is equivalent to about 35l of AJ - with sugar content to match, so you wouldn't need to add any sugar. And you get more apple in the brew too.
OK it costs a little bit more but I reckon it's worth it.

Hello bd,
Why do you put in 2Kg sugar? doesn`t this come out very strong (or is that what you wanted)?
I only use 150 - 200gr sugar to get 5.7 - 6.5% in 15Lts.
No disrespect, just asking!

I like to make my TC to about 9-10%.

*edit*
I don't put 2kg in, that was just the first number that came to me. :)
